China Club is a bonafide legend in the NYC Club Scene. You can tell the strength of a club by the length of the line to get in, and there’s always a line at the China Club. The crowds are an interesting mix of a more sophisticated and older group of people than club kids eager to get into the latest hotspot. China Club is relatively close to Times Square, and it draws in tourists as well. Most of the year the roof over the top floor’s Jade Terrace is open to offer the eye candy of the lit up NYC nigh skyline. For most of the week, DJs get people dancing, but every so often live acts that usually play arena gigs will come by for a set.
