Buddakan Parties All Month Long

Delicious Asian restaurant Buddakan has a jam packed February, full of celebrations for The Year of the Snake and the Chinese New Year. If you're a fan of dim sum, delicious brunches, or cooking classes, then you are in for a treat. Not only does Buddakan have an awesome Chinese New Year menu special, but they are also hosting a dumpling class and dim sum brunch. 

First up on their agenda is a Kick-Off Dim Sum Brunch on February 10th from 1-3pm. The brunch will feature a three course prix fixe menu for just $55 and have entertainment from New York City's Luen Hing lion dancers and DJ Timka. There will also be champagne specials, as well as red envelopes at the end of your meal revealnig a ticket for an insider tour of Chinatown with Buddakan's executive chef Yang Huang. Cha-ching!

But that's not all they have planned. On February 16th at 1pm, Buddakan will host a Behind the Scenes Dumpling Class and Brunch. Attendees will have the chance to learn the art of dumpling making from the restaurant's chefs and kitchen team, along with a tour of the kitchen. Afterwar  ds, guests will be served brunch at the communal table in the Great Room. Tickets are $85 and come with a souvenir gift bag, but hurry up to reserve your spot because there's limited entry! 

In addition to these fun events, there will also be a two week long Chinese New Year menu special. The a la carte menu will offer dishes that celebrate each of the virtues associated with the holiday - for example, prosperity is king crab soup dumplings in xo soup with pork and longevity is wok-tossed longevity noodles with sea urchin butter. The menu will be available February 10th through 24th.
