College Weekly Gameday Tour Intern

We are an early stage, high growth company with endless opportunities for advancement for individuals that are driven to deliver tangible results and do whatever it takes to move College Weekly forward. Interns will gain valuable experience in contributing to brainstorming sessions, marketing research, media list development, and other office administration tasks.

 This is an internship with our Events Department. The opportunity involves working on our fall Gameday Tour, which consists of 10 concerts on 10 campuses with 31k+ tickets up for sale. 

Responsibilities:

  • Developing our sales pipeline and campus ambassador team 
  • Promotional ticket distribution management
  • Assisting Event Managers with planning and production of  ticketed events

Required skills, duties and responsibilities include: 

  • Good communication skills  
  • Organizational skills
  • Recruiting techniques 
  • Understands good, quality candidates versus unqualified ones 
  • Understands collegiate marketing and events management
  • Basic ​knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Excellent writing/verbal communications skills
  • Ability​ to multitask and meet deadlines is key
  • Knowledge and experience with popular social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, ​Youtube, ​Tumblr, Pinterest, Foursquare, etc.) 

1+ years experience in events and collegiate marketing.
