Caroline Trentini was born on July 6th, 1987 in Rio Grande de Sul, Brazil. Caroline was brought up in a single parent home after the passing of her father and was unexpectedly discovered at the age of 13 while walking down the street. This was no ordinary occurrence because she was discovered by the same model scout that scooped up Gisele Bundchen, perhaps an omen of the enormous success Trentini would have in her later modeling career. The discovery sparked a move to the model town of Sao Paolo and eventually New York City where Trentini couldn’t speak English but was fluent in the language of modeling.
Trentini’s career breakthrough came when Marc Jacobs himself cast her in his Marc by Marc Jacobs ad campaign in 2003. With the combination of signature freckles, walk, body and quirky charm, Trentini has quickly reached the heights of top model stardom.

- In 2004, Trentini is photographed topless by Stephen Klein surrounded by meat in a freezer. Trentini turns from meat eater to vegetarian afterwards.

- In 2007, Trentini becomes the face of Oscar de la Renta
